Baba Gnohm, by the name of Kalle Govertz Hannelius Christensen, is a chill-out/downtempo/dub and trance producer from Denmark.
Kalle started playing guitar at age 5 and played other instruments like bass and drums. He was playing old rock n roll, punk and other similar styles at that time.
In 2005, Gnohm started producing trance after a massive party in the forest of Denmark with the Parvati crew.
More recently, in 2008, Baba went on producing chill-out, downtempo and dub under the name of Baba Gnohm. This all started when Kalle met Lauge, also from Denmark, so they started producing chill-out together, as well as in their respective single projects.
Baba Gnohm is now making a debut release with Node3 Records, so as in dark psytrance with D-A-R-K Records in autumn 2008. Lauge & Baba Gnohm together will also release with Node3 Records.
Influences: Nature, the city, Christiania, pictures, old music, the Parvati music (Onkel Dunkel, Gow, Meteloids, Jahbo and so on) sounds, dreams, just messing around with my synth, life actually anything.
